Have you ever had dress regret?

Having cold feet about your wedding dress decision is really common!! Continuing to browse and to "see what else is out there" can be a slippery slope, but if you've truly fallen out of love with your dress we definitely recommend calling an audible! Are you innocent or guilty of having dress...

Are you innocent or guilty of having dress regret? If you're guilty - how did you deal with it?

I regret it, but don't at the same time. My FH hates lace, but agreed he would be fine with the top part only being lace. I still feel like he might hate it, but I have to remind myself (and I'm sure I will feel better once starting fittings) that I look beautiful in it and others love it too. And that he'll love me in it because he loves me.

    Yup!
I bought a dress, decided I didn’t like it, bought another one, decided I liked the first better, sold the second one, found my dream dress for an amazing price, bought it, now trying to sell the first one again 😂
I keep telling myself it’s because we’ve been engaged for 2.5 years

Guilty. I had second thoughts and then just lost all ability to judge for myself. I'm in the middle of making some alterations to my dress (about which I have also lost all judgment), but I think I'm going to be really happy on the day, and my dress will be very unique and I can say that I really put my own finish on it.

I definitely had dress regret. I was settling in the beginning because my mom liked the dress and the price was a steal. I ended up buying a new dress and I am sooo much happier!

I absolutely love my dress. I went dress shopping for a fit and flare and bought a ballgown and I couldn't be more in love!

Not Guilty. I still absolutely love my dress. I love it as much today as I did when I put it on the first time!

Innocent, I love my dress and I have a secret photo saved on my phone so I can admire it when I want to.

In my in between right now. It’s in and I tried it but it’s too big (woot woot lost some weight) and looks funny. I just look at pictures from when it fit correctly before and try to imagine it that way

So so so guilty. But usually not about the dress itself, mostly about the fit.

I bought my dress used on Facebook, so I kind of regret not doing the traditional shopping day, but I don't have dress regret yet.

GUILTY. So guilty. But in my defense, I had to settle for my 5th choice in dresses due to time constraints, sizing issues, etc.

Innocent! I knew my dress was my dress from the minute I put it on and I never had a single doubt.

Guilty. My dress shopping experience was a whirlwind. I had wanted a very specific silhouette and “look.” For months I pinned dresses that matched this style. Long story short, I went alone and ended up falling in love with a dress that technically had the aspects I wanted, but it was very bohemian and trendy—total opposite of the dress I wanted for months. I asked my sister to visit before I pulled the trigger. We went to one last bridal appointment and I was adamant about trying on a dress like the original look I wanted. I found it. The dress was everything I wanted. Very classic and timeles. But by that time, I had already fallen in love with the other dress. There was confusion, and tears (the stressful kind). I ended up buying the dress that looked like the kind I had wanted for months. I figure once the high wears off, I will come to my senses and realize this is the dress I wanted all along. But I can’t say I don’t still second guess myself.

Mostly innocent. It's hard not to stop looking after you have chosen your dress, and I always wonder what else is out there that I didn't look at or try on. But then I think about the moment I chose my dress, and everything I love about it, and I know I made the right choice.

I still have over a year to go so its to soon to tell but I do live my dress now. I'm sure I might at some point but I'm not too worried about it because I think most brides have a moment where they second guess their dress even if it doesn't last long.

Sometimes I think I should've gotten something more flashy or fancy, but then I see pics of me in it & change my mind. It is perfect for me. I love it.

Oh I definitely had it mostly because i don't like my arms, but i ended up falling in love with a dress that has a tank top sleeve, and i kept going over and over it in my head but as soon as i put it on, i feel beautiful and i love it just the way it is.
