I have only been on this site for a few days, excuse my excitement but yes im learning to possibly not use the forum portion of this website as often. I notice because i had certain opinions and feelings I expressed on one specific thread of mine now a few ppl respond to me certain ways on here or only comment to sort of be rude to me.

Im just another excited bride to be , but im also not here to feel unwelcomed, ridiculed or spoken to in ways i dont see other brides spoken to when they post similiar topics.

Sadly - advice you both like and dislike, constructive criticism, opinions and even negativity are all agents you may deal with in website forums. Its gotta be expected.

@Olivia Im enjoying how i have decided to modify my interactions on here thanks for the input. No one can also dictate what and how much i post on here either just bc they arent fond of my posts. But i have learned that i post things that have already been addressed. Its no biggie, im new ... im learning....enjoy your night.

@Trish i wedding hashtag , its not needed but i have always loved them for other weddings i have catered and attended and we wanted a cute hashtag to incorporate on save the dates, invited and the wedding website

@Trish hashtags aren't only on twitter. You can use them on instagram and facebook and maybe other social media sites I'm not aware of

Actually complaining about how much a forum member posts is a bit mean. But its also a choice to comment on a post made by someone who virtually annoys you. But whatever is deemed "mean" rolls off my back. Im just glad other brides felt the same about some reponses i got bc some comments are on that borderline lol.

Its up to people to decide someone is viewing them as a slave or generator. That perception is theirs and doesnt resonate with me and why i enjoy being on here. I been on here almost a week and made the poor choice of using WW to take my energy away from a loss that occured for me and FH and i can admit in excitement i post alot but just like commentors dont care how they come across i dont care if i post alot - what i will do is make sure im not asking questions already asked on other threads.

i have learned how the sarcasm and very blunt comments can go and i have learned to stop being one of those "newbies getting easily offended" by comments - that I asked for lol

I take in what resonates and for those who decide to comment with sarcasm - if its funny ill laugh , if i feel its a bit much ill just ignore it

Not that big of a deal we are a forum of brides just trying to hash ideas so we dont make age old mistakes esp when it comes to etiquette

Everyone is entitled to their perception we arent all having the exact same wedding so what is pointless to one bride wont be to the next bride. Sort of like how some ppl dont think they sound mean but to others it may sound like they are. Beauty of perception.

I am going to be so very honest with you, if you post a hashtag post it will most likely get funny but not helpful hashtags (my faves are the #mouthhugs ones lol) and this is because we do not know you or your fh. We don't know you personalities or really anything except for you last name which is normally in the thread, we cannot come up with a witty cute hashtag because we know nothing about you guys! You will be directed to the hashtag generators by most which won't work either because they will give you generic hashtags well, because the generator doesn't know you either. Your best bet is to ask family, friends, co-workers, hell ask your mailman he knows you better than us. Happy hashtag hunting!
