My fiance has this 'friend' (talk sometimes, never hang out) that was also his HS girlfriend.

I don't mind the friendship but don't feel comfortable having her on the wedding.

She knows we are engaged and asked to come to the wedding. I told him to tell her that she unfortunately can't come, to which she replied saying that 'I must not trust him around her'.

I got very upset and messaged her myself saying it was my wedding and I didn't feel comfortable with her being there so she wasn't invited and needed to get over it.

She proceeded to say I'm a crazy bridezila that is targeting her for no reason and trying to guilt trip me saying 'imagine how would you feel if you were not invited to the wedding of a friend you know over 10 years' and that my fiance will loose a friend due to my actions.

I said that I really don't care because on my wedding day my feelings are more important than hers

Am I crazy and bridezila or she needs to understand where I'm coming from and get over it

Yes @Tiffany, this happened a couple days ago and neither of us have talked to her since, but the last message she sent him said something on the lines of 'ok, nice nowing you good to know you turn on your friends, have a god life'

@Merrie Contrarie I didn't contact her and told her she is not invited, she asked to come and I told him to say no, to which she didn't react very well.

The Ex-Factor! When FH and I first became a serious couple, we mutually agreed that we would no longer keep the "friends" who were exes. It was easy math - if you've seen each other naked, you don't need to be friends (or facebook friends). And one of his exes did make a fuss about it. But this relationship is about him and me, not our past. Good luck!

Well since she sent him that message, it sounds like she's out of your lives! Problem solved!

I am still close to one of my ex's only because his son is my God son. Even though we are close he is not coming to the wedding.

You are right to say not everyone is comfortable with having ex's around. I have lost boyfriend's because of my God son's dad.. because my boyfriend could handle him being an ex... but I wasn't just going to walk away from my God son either. I am very lucky to have my FH understand this... but he still didn't make the guest list cut. Though I am only having 45 people on it.. we wanted a very small wedding. .. mostly family and one set of close family friends from each side.

No you are not being a bridezilla but disengage from any further communication with her.
