Has anything you planned gone wrong yet?

You just have to laugh about it sometimes because if you take this planning all too seriously and care too much about perfect you will taint the memories of this time.
So far I've ordered 2 personalized things from 2 separate etsy stores. Our unity candle holder and our cake topper. Our topper had the s break off of the "Mrs" right out of the package. Then when my candle holder got here my name was spelled wrong! Couldn't believe how unlucky I've been! Lol it's actually funny. Thankfully I did this a little more than 3 months in advance so there was time to fix it and both companies are fixing and shipping for free. Got my replaced topper today and it's perfect.
Anything gone wrong for you all? 1st pic: spell check! (My name is Elizabeth NOT EliXabeth!) 2nd pic is off S broken off lol. Has anything you planned gone wrong yet? 1

Hopefully they fixed yours for free too lol. I'm having a small intimate wedding of 30 people at a small venue and if my little details are getting messed up I can only imagine it happens to everyone lol. I would be shocked if those normal or big sized weddings all went perfectly down to every little detail. That would be amazing lol especially with all of those people involved.

Does anyone know if there's anyway to edit the title? I accidentally left a word out and now I don't look very intelligent lol.

Since you mentioned it I fixed it for you. 😄 Rockstars can edit titles for clarity.

I have not gotten into the fine details of planning since we still have 8 months to go before our wedding in February. I am sure something will go wrong when I get to that point!

My partner and I are not concerned by that because we're having a super simple wedding: we are skipping wedding party, favors, we are havibg DYI, non-floral centerpieces, almost no flowers beside my bouquet and 2 bouquets around us during the ceremony, no chair covers & ribbons , no gifts to parents or to each other, a simple restaurant as our reception venue, almost 0 décor items, no candles...
And I bought a white dress from a department store!

Last but not least: we decnined the money my parents offered because: 1) we can pay everything ourselves.

    2) The strings were to invite 25 people I don't want there (for various reasons) and having a church wedding and me to wear a veil whereas we both want a secular one and I don't want to wear a veil.

Really, we are not going to have many headaches with our planning LOL buy this is what we BOTH want!

Dude this happened to me so many times during my wedding planning. just to name some:

    1. my first cake topper i ordered came broken

    2. i ordered some flavoring syrups for my DIY boba bar and one of them came exploded out!

    3. they gave me the wrong amount of boutonnieres and corsages

the only super good thing about any of that was the fact that i pretty much got a huge discount after and saved money for the glitches that happened on the seller's or shipper's part.
