Has anyone used Tiffany Blue as a wedding color??

whitney, on March 26, 2011 at 1:18 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 20

If so, which color at David's Bridal do you think matches the closest?

Update: we went shopping Saturday and changed plans. We used the brown for the bridesmaid dresses instead. We got them at Bridal Warehouse. Attaching a picture. I LOVE THEM..

Different and very classy and elegant and they can definitely wear them again.

That's my color!! It's called Pool. We got our dresses at Alfred Angelo but I think the color is "pool" for Alfred Angelo, David's Bridal & Men's Warehouse. We are doing pool, black, white, and silver (formal) :-)

Yea I'm doing tiffany blue with brown. I'm just not sure which of the blues to use at Davids Bridal that will coordinate with all of the Tiffany Blue things I have bought already.

I think if you are looking at DB colors I would use malibu (might be too bright) or pool (might be to soft). Nothing else is really even close. Good luck,

Thanks!! I love the purple with it. I wish I had thought of that! I have already bought so much brown already. Smiley sad

I was thinking the pool too, I just wasn't sure if that was too light. I agree.

This was from WeddingBee... a bride that did all the work and then posted her results.

    Aria Dress –color Aqua

    Watters and Watters –color Tiffany

    Jim Hjelm — color Turquoise

    Lazaro –color Aqua

    Kathlin Argiro –color Tiffany Blue

    Mackenzie Michaels –color Tiffany

    Jordan Fashions –color Aqua

    Forever Bridals– color Aqua

    Saeyoung Vu Couture –color Tiffany

Other collections have similar colors but I feel they are either too blue or too green. I suppose finding the exact shade of Tiffany blue is impossible considering the color is “Trademarked.” Although, these designers carry dresses that are pretty darn close. Hopefully Tiffany & Co. doesn’t freak out! haha Good luck dress shopping!

Good luck..... you will need some accent colors. Once you pick a blue, it is VERY hard to find more of that EXACT shade.... so you may do shades of tiffany blue.

Also, there is not many blue flowers in nature, so you may want to pick an accent color for your flowers, or have the girls carry white.

My colors are turquoise blue, yellow, and silver. I chose David's Bridal Pool color for my bridesmaids dresses. Malibu could have worked, but the Pool was so soft and pretty. I think if you are going with Tiffany Blue, you should definitly do Pool. The blues aren't always going to be a "perfect" match, since there are so many shades. Good Luck!

Toni Braxton did Tiffany Blue...maybe you can google her wedding and see what she did? Granted none of us are as rich as she is but we could use her wedding for ideas!

@FutureMrs2011 - I know! My sister mentioned those colors to me and I never had thought about them before, but when I put them all together I fell in LOVE! Smiley smile And it goes perfect for a vintage-rustic-chic theme with birds & trees! Smiley laugh What is your theme? Apparently those colors are becoming BIG together.. I found this shoe at Nine West the other day and couldn't believe it !
