Has anyone used or going to use the impress press on nails for the wedding?

Melanie, on June 30, 2017 at 4:54 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

I love these nails and have used them so many times. I just don't know if I want to use them for my wedding. Is anyone else using them? I also can't decide what color I want to do. What color or design are you doing for the wedding? All

The examples I see are neutral and I don't think I want neutral or metallic. Here are the ones I'm currently wearing Smiley smile

A simple acrylic French tip is classy and elegant, that's what I plan on doing.

I personally wouldn't do press on nails for the wedding just because one could fall off or break. But they are nice though!

I would get gel. If you don't have nails there's the possibility of putting a tip on then covering it with the gel polish so they aren't as thick.

I just really don't want to pay for gel. I'm on a really tight budget. And these come with like 30 so if one falls off I can just put another one on... these are like $5 and gel is like $35

They look nice! But press on nails are risky.

Plus, gel and acrylics fuk up ur nails. Ur nails end up growing too weak.

The ones you have applied in the picture look really good. I have never been able to make mine look that good so I say go for it!

Are these press-on nails, or those jamberry shrinkwrap things? TBH, if I didn't have an acrylic overlay, I would just go get a manicure and have them do clear polish and maybe a simple design on the ring finger. But you do you.

I have had terrible experiences with every gel or regular polish manicure I've gotten recently, and I dislike acrylics.

I'm just doing a manicure with no polish and Jamberry (design TBD - something simple), because I've never had s problem with them.

If you're comfortable with those then go for it. I think you made your decision but maybe it's just weighing on your mind because you see most people get manicures. You do you girl! The pic looks good!

Personally, I'd go with gel rather than press on. Those are cute though.

I hate acrylics and gel nail sets because they jack up my nails for weeks after I remove them, even when I have them taken off by the manicurist! I'm considering press-ons because I really have never been much of a nail girl, so I really don't care to pay that much haha.

I'm sorry you guys have terrible experiences with gel and acrylic. Smiley sad I'm so picky, I don't let them grind mine down with the dremel tool. I think people just assume because they're at a shop means the person is good at it, when that's not true at all. This is Nexgen "dipping powder" over my natural nails.

These are the Impress brand. They work so well! I usually have them on for at least a week. I want to use them I just don't know if I can find a color I like. French is so not me haha. I'm thinking a light matte pink that they have. I just don't want to pay a lot for my nails and these work way better and look way better than if I paint them myself, plus they won't chip!

I love these and can't believe they are press ons!!! I've got to find some! My nails are so easily damaged so I refuse to get acrylics/gel/or the powder stuff again. Tried them all and my nails looks terrible for weeks after! OP how exactly do these work, come off, and do they leave any damage??

Hey Melanie! Did you end up wearing Impress nails at your wedding? I just discovered Impress nails and LOVE them... I think they look as good if not better than a gel or dip mani in my opinion so I was thinking of doing them for my wedding! Just curious as to what you ended up doing!
