No, but that looks gorgeous. I have however heard that baby's breath can get very pricey very quickly.

No, but it's so simple and cute. It's just like a "breath" of fresh air! Very country too, which sounds like what you are going for in your décor.

I am using baby's breath for my pew decorations! I wanted lily of the valley but way expensive. So tried an experiment last week and put some lily of the valley oil, sprayed it on a small bunch of baby's breath and put in a sealed bag for about 2 hrs! Opened up the bag and seriously 5 days later it still smells like lily of the valley. It took just a tiny Amt of oil as it is very strong. Bought a bottle on eBay (many different aromas to choose from) for about 5.00.

So decided this is what I am going with! Will save a ton of money .

Not yet but we will be using baby's breath only. I will say to make a statement you need lots of baby's breath and it's not as cheap as I thought going in. My inspirations are below. I was quoted between 55-75 for the centerpieces. 30 if I provided my own vase. We've since decided to dyi them

I'm thinking of doing baby's breath only bouquets for my bridesmaids. Its very affordable (comparatively speaking) and you shouldn't have any problems with it lasting the day. Plus it fits the rustic/vintage decor very nicely!

I haven't seen it at a wedding yet but I will be doing it. I plan to do just baby's breath bouquets for the bridesmaids and a hydrangea/baby's breath bouquet for me. Then stick baby's breath in mason jars for centerpieces Smiley smile

@Maltese I really like that centerpiece. I'll have to throw this baby's breath idea out to my florist and see if it's less expensive than my other option.

@Dori...it was a lot less expensive when I switched centerpieces. Below are the flowers that I originally intended to use (BM bouquets), for the centerpieces, hydrangea were going to be added to them to make them fuller (they will be on tall Eiffel vases). I went to the florist Sunday about changing the BB and was able to add 2 altar arrangements and an arrangement for the unity candle AND still come in $35 less than what the order was going to be!

Baby's breath really fits a rustic themed wedding. I don't like baby's breath for more formal weddings though, for example a ballroom wedding. I also think baby's breath looks best with at least a little bit of another flower mixed in. Like the rose and baby breath bouquet below.

When you start to price out how much you actually need, you'll find out it's not as cheap as you thought. If you love it, do it.

After seeing this, Im sooo doing this. Im having a very small ceremony and am wanting a wristlet coursage to wear for the evening restaurant reception, but was nervous about walking down the isle alone and having nothing in my hands. Pow! A small babys breath bouquet from the grocery store, with a navy blue ribbon! Thanks! I love WW! :-)
