I used babys breath in mason jars for a friends wedding shower and they lasted all day no problem in the sun.

My friend used baby's breath for her centerpieces and our BM bouquets and they held up just fine! I was 85 degrees outside with 90% humidity too.

Which route is better/cheaper? Buying wholesale or from a vendor?

We are buying babys breath in bulk from Costco. It's $80 for 100 stems or something like that. I plan on buying a small amount first to help figure out how many stems we will need for all our centerpieces and bouquets.

@Kassy, and so you are just going to make the bouquets, centerpieces, etc., yourself?

Baby's breath is not as cheap as you might think it is; I was on a florist facebook group, and have you see the large balls of it? That can take 12 bunches! Retail, that's about $21/bunch plus labor! A lot of labor Smiley smile

It's a look that's been around in my area for about ten years now. It is dainty looking.

For those doing diy, I believe it's Sam's club that has a good deal on baby's breath. I think costco might have it also.

I miss Paris. She used to be on this site. She used all baby's breath and it was gorgeous.

Yes I am doing them all myself. We won't be making any type of arrangement, just plain baby's breath so it shouldnt be too difficult i think. I'm planning on doing a practice run soon

We went to a wedding this past August and they had centerpieces similar to this one. I loved it so much. If the centerpieces I want are not budget friendly, it is always an option. They'll be taller this this one though.

@kit that looks like a lot of baby's breath and I bet it's a very pricey centerpiece.

I really like just baby's breath when done for BM bouquets and centerpieces. The only time I don't like it is when the bride has a ton of it in her bouquet.
