That would be Kristy S. in this post, and I don't think it was a bridal consignment store - I believe it was a general consignment store: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/cant-believe-it/ef0fadebe4d1db06.html

We have one here in Virginia Beach, but I had terrible service there, the shop owner was very unhelpful and uppity.

As for your shop, I say TRY IT OUT! Save where you can! [: Good luck!

Well that's good to know, I'm more interested in decorations and centerpieces bu..t if I found a dress BONUS! So I guess you would have to really price shop before buying used

I happen to have new and once worn/used things, it depends on what has come in on consignment. I don't know how the one in your area is, but I will only take in things that are in good shape, clean and that have been used in the last 3 years. I hope you find some great deals! Smiley smile

You could also check out online websites like SmartBrideBoutique.com. You can search by your geographic area and by price so that you can actually find a dress (or decorations) in your area and go and try it on/inspect in person! Good luck.

I have a consignment shop in WNY. It works just like a regular consignment shop just with bridal things instead.

NotFroofy and I got our dresses from a consignment store. Mine was used, and NotFroofy's was a sample. Not only did we save money, but we got to see exactly how dresses would look on us before buying, and take them home the same day.
