Has anyone ordered their dress online? I'm scared. LOL

Its always a long shot to find one you really like, but people post ads on Craigs list for used and some even brand new dresses in your area. It can't hurt to check it out!

Check out weddingbee for discussions about other online sites in China. I've found that all of these boards have different personalities and opinions as a whole when it comes to specific things (e.g., can't really talk about anything nontraditional on The Knot, ww here doesn't like China dress sites, etc.). Almost 100% of weddingbees who ordered their dresses from dressily or Jasmine's were very happy. I'm waiting for mine to come in from Jasmine's, so can't speak about the quality quite yet, but the communication process has been great. Personally, the idea of spending so much on a dress that I'll wear for 10 hours of my life is asinine.

I ordered online from...David's Bridal =) got my dress in exactly 1 week and loved it =)

If you order online, I would recommend ordering from a company based in the US, not China. We are located in California and have a good review rating on weddingwire.com.

I GET MARRIED IN MARCH ** INSERT YAY!!** LOL! MY BF AND I ORDERED HER DRESS ONLINE ( SHE GOT MARRIED IN DECEMEBR) FROM CHINA (INSERT GASP) LOL! THE DRESS WAS DONE ON TIME AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL... SHE EMAILED HIM A PICTURE OF HOW SHE WANTED IT TO LOOK AND IT CAME OUT PERFECT.. THE DRESS WAS HEAVY AND MATERIAL WAS AWESOME. SHE PAID ABOUT $400. TOOK ABOUT 8 WEEKS. I HAD A FIASCO OCCUR LAST MONTH WITH MY SEAMSTRESS AND FOUND MYSELF DRESSLESS LAST WEEK. IT IS TOO LATE TO ORDER FROM CHINA... SO I WENT TO AMAZON (I'M NOT A FAN OF SPENING THOUSANDS ON A ONE TIME DRESS ( DON'T KILL ME LOL) I FOUND T FOR $125 AND WITH PRIME I GOT IT LAST WEEK. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! I ENCOURAGE YOU TOO READ THE REVIEWS AND JUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE RETURN POLICY!

Ive ordered dresses on Amazon before and never had issues.....

but I haven't done the other sites.... it makes me nervous and the reviews aren't that great
