Has anyone else's wedding plans been halted due to the pandemic?

This pandemic is still on going, im still out of work because of it. with the limited funds i have im finding it hard to work on my wedding plans. sure i got the visuals in order but the actual process of PAYING for the wedding is so up in the air. i wanna look at vendors but what the point if i have no way finance it?

this whole year has been such a drag its sucked the motivation out of me

anyone else feeling like this?

I think everyone who had a wedding planned from mid-March has been affected in one way or another. We postponed from this October to next October. But I’m feeling relieved by the decision and hopeful about next year. However, I thank God every day that FH and I have careers that weren’t impacted by the pandemic and neither of us are at risk of losing our jobs. But, given your situation, I completely understand how the exciting feeling about wedding planning has faded. That’s no fun and hopefully everything turns around for the better.

I'm so sorry you're feeling down about your wedding! My FH has been out of work since March while I've been working as an essential worker the whole time. I can't say I completely understand about the financials because we actually have been able to save up more than we expected we'd be able to have, but I do understand the feeling of this year being an absolute CRAP SHOW! Here are some internet hugs!

I'm so sorry Sherraine, covid-19 really threw everyone's wedding plans for a loop!
Stay flexible and realistic with your plans, and it's definitely the time for prioritization!! Lock down the most important vendors and then wait on the others until you're more clear on the final budget!
