Has anyone done white combat-style boots for their wedding shoes?

Austin, on February 16, 2023 at 10:08 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2

Looking for pictures/styling advice. I've found white Steve Madden "Troopa" lace up boots, and I think I really like them. I'd like to wear them in everyday life too after the wedding (and probably before to break them in), so if anyone has styling advice on that, that'd be amazing. I lean towards a cottage-core style.

Our November wedding will be outdoors with a "farm fancy" dress code, and I don't want to wear heels or anything open-toe. I'm also not sure how much shoes truly matters, so any reassurance that I'm overthinking this is also very welcomed.

Thank you!

Consider this your reassurance that you are overthinking this 😉 Unless you are wearing a short dress, or a hi-lo dress, chances are nobody will even see your shoes. So if you love the boots, and you will wear them again after the wedding, I say, go for it! And I would make sure to ask your photographer to get a cute shoe photo!

Unless you’re gonna see your shoes I wouldn’t worry! I wore a cheap pair of white converse looking sneakers from target that cost me $16 lol. Especially if you think you’ll wear them outside the wedding too I say go for it! They’re cute. Make sure you get a photo!
