Hi! We originally had our wedding planned for August 2021 but the venue cancelled all events this year due to COVID-19. We rescheduled to October 2022 with the same venue because it's our dream venue. Our original plan was a classic, timeless wedding but now that we have a second go at it, we decided to not care so much about what others think and just do us! That's why we picked Halloween weekend. I want it to be classy/sophisticated but still have elements of Halloween (aka no costumes but may do cool masquerade masks or mini pumpkins painted w our date as a favor?). I was thinking wooden chairs and tables, terracotta/rust table runners, black plates w gold accents like silverware and vases. Floral photo inspo below. Any other suggestions and ideas are welcome! Having trouble nailing down a solid vision and am worried about it being too orange + black.

Halloween wedding here too! Getting married on a yacht and we are doing "elegant gothic" lol. So lots of Victorian style, lots of lace, black candelabras, colors will be grey, black, mauve, burgandy and gold. Adding halloween nods with our skeleton wedding cake topper, ouija board invitations and our dry ice cauldrons! After wedding we are getting matching tattoos!

We're getting married October 29th, 2021 and we're so doing a Halloween wedding! Our colors are mostly red and black with pops of other moody fall colors. Costumes are encouraged but not required and we're doing trick or treat bags as favors that include traditional Halloween candy as well as homemade fudge in seasonal flavors. The FH and I are doing a more Gothic vampire look for our attire with me wearing a red and black ballgown and him in a Victorian type suit. There's an old graveyard near our venue so we'll be doing some pictures there likely with some Halloween props. We shopped all the Halloween clearance last year for fun stuff and can't wait to see it all come together. Halloween Weekend Wedding 1

Hello there! I'm getting married Oct 30th, 2021 and I'm so beyond excited. I have a gorgeous lace, black dress (zander by sotero and midgley). I am decorating with black, rose gold, eggplant purple, magenta and of course pumpkin orange. I am decorating with lush, vibrant florals (because I'm a florist), lots of candles, pumpkins, and cool lighting.

Where did you get your sign? We are in the market for something similar and have checked out a few shops on Etsy. Our wedding is 10/30/22.

He date twins! October 30, 21 here and SO much has changed since my initial reply to this post in March. Well, at the beginning of May, I randomly suggested that we get married locally instead (San Diego). So once we booked a local venue, we canceled our (long, 2.5 years of planning) wedding that was booked in Las Vegas.

Now we’re getting married on the beach. Then the reception is at the hotel right behind, on their rooftop, overlooking the ocean. Since the city changed, everything else changed along with it. New venue, new vendors and also new decor. So now we’re calling it a “Seaside Chic Hallowedding” (minus the Halloween vibe).
Unlike typical dark Halloween wedding colors, we’re actually having a “white-out” wedding, where attire and decor will be all white. Given that, I plan to incorporate a few mini white pumpkins in various places. The only other Halloween inspired element will be a candy table. I’m honestly not a fan of candy tables since they’re very played out. But only (only) because the wedding is on 10/30/21 did I decide to do one to fit (with all white colored treats).

That’s a really good point! to be honest, i love both but i’d say for a wedding vibe, i’d be leaning more towards the scary movie side.
