Hair trim before wedding ?

Personally, I wouldn't do anything to my hair that close to my wedding, but to each their own. A trim isn't as drastic as a dye job, or major hairstyle change - so that's up to you!

I asked my hair stylist if I should get a trim when I had my trial (in August) and she said that the curls actually hold better when you don't have a fresh trim and the ends are a little dead. I never heard of that but she did amazing things to my hair so I'm trusting her on that one!

Regardless, I think it might be too close...when it's too fresh it doesn't fall the same way. You don't really need a trim every six weeks either, especially if you're growing your hair out

I got a trim the weekend before, and dyed my roots. The ends of my hair look horrible usually because I go years between haircuts so I definitely needed it.

I will be getting my ends trimmed right before my wedding. If I don't trim the ends and leave that dead hair on there, it'll look ratted and the curls won't stay past an hour. I especially get my hair trimmed every six weeks because I'm letting it grow out.

I'm getting my hair colored tomorrow and we're date twins but I'll be going in on Monday after for a trim because I don't wanna risk them cutting too much. I haven't gotten a trim for over a year because I have little to no hair growth so I was hoping it'd grow, no luck.

I got a trim about 6 weeks out--like @Jessica my HMUA told me it's better to have hair that isn't freshly cut.

My hair stylist recommended a final appointment 2 weeks before my wedding. If you're doing an updo you're probably fine either way. I'd talk to your stylist and see what they recommend!

My wedding is the day before yours! I'm getting my hair dyed next Wednesday and a very minimal trim so it's as healthy as possible.

I'm getting my hair cut and some color with a final styling trial about a week before. I'm not worried about it at all

I don't know why you would need to but I don't think it would hurt. I had an updo so it didn't really matter. I did get my bangs cut 2 weeks before the wedding so they would be a good length

I wouldn't trim out of fear it might become a chop haha. Also, with all the products and pulling afterwards, I'm sure my hair will appreciate the trim even more after the wedding.

I made an appointment for Saturday because my hair is literally touching my butt and to long , I'm not worried about a hack job I love my stylist . After the wedding I'm getting a conditioning treatment

I got my highlights redone and cut 5 inches off my hair last week! It's going to be a lot easier with my updo I had too much hair
