Hi ladies!

Anyone out there have/had a destination wedding and thought to pay for the bridesmaids hair and makeup as a gift? I have 5 ladies in my bridal party and I definitely want to do a nice personalized gift but not sure if covering the costs for hair&makeup would be a nice way to show my appreciation for them? I am not requiring they have the services done professionally. Should it be a definite since its a destination wedding?

I am having a DW and decided to pay for my 7 bridesmaids makeup. Only because I know it costs a lot for flight and resort stay and I wanted the glam look so didn't want to put that extra financial burden on them. I'm not paying for hair though, they're on their own lol.
I think it's a nice gesture but not required, especially if youre not requiring makeup.

I think this is personal preference. It would be a nice gift if you chose to do it though!
In my country it is common for the bride to pay for everything - dress, hair, makeup, shoes and jewellery, and accommodation night before, so it's always interesting to me to see what other places do!
