Hi everyone. I have postponed my wedding to August 1, but now I can't find anyone to do my hair or makeup. Everyone I've contacted is booked up! We're getting married an hour south of Fargo, North Dakota. I have thought about flying out someone from Pennsylvania (where we live currently), but that is so costly. I just don't have to courage to do my own hair the day of the wedding. Makeup I can handle, probably. Any advice??

Have you done a Google search for hairdressers? Check the vendor tab at the top.

I'm sure you did but if not, did you see if there was anyone on the Minnesota side willing, if you're directly south of Fargo? Even someone in Moorhead maybe?

Oh yes, Minneapolis/St. Paul I think would be a little far for most services. Depending where you are actually getting married, I may be able to help a little more. Possibly even Alexandria, MN? I'm just trying to think of Minnesota towns I drive through close to Fargo when I'm going to Grand Forks, sorry!

It's not as fancy, but I would look into places like costcutters and other chain hair places. Those people did go to beauty school and have had training in updos. The other option is searching on Facebook, you can find local people who may not have websites up. Good luck, I was in the same boat until yesterday when I finally found someone who was free! Good luck!

Hi! I’m from the Fargo, ND area. Have you looked into The Salon Professional Academy? Or Josef’s School of Hair Design? They are both schools so you could save a little money by going to them!

Otherwise, MJ Capellini did great with my and my sister’s hair for prom. Our hairstyles actually came from bridal inspirations!
Otherwise I would look into BreElle Bridal on Facebook. She does amazing work!
