Hair cut/trim before the wedding

I did mine about 3 weeks out. I'm not a fan of freshly cut hair. I have no idea why, maybe just like the look of it "worn in" but I woudln't want to do it too far in advance that you might have split ends!

I would say trim now to keep healthy and then maybe once more (depending on damage and split ends) a week or 2 before wedding - I am a stylist and normally have my clients (especially brides) in every six weeks for a slight trim (1/4 inch off or less) depending on the growth and the style they are trying to achieve

My final cut / color is 2 weeks before the wedding. I don't want it to be too fresh either, like Jenn mentioned.

I'm also not a fan of "fresh" so my hair apt is 2 weeks before but I do think it would be beneficial to have a trim before then to keep your hair healthy.

Are you having someone do your hair the day of? If so, get their opinion before you do anything! The same person who cuts my hair is also doing my hair for the wedding, and I've sent her a picture of what I want for the wedding day and she's told me that we need to meet up soon to layer a TON.

LOL I was going to let mine grow I was almost to the middle of my back and I chopped it off to my chin, I fear by the wedding I will regret this lol. I hope it grows fast in a year.
