Guest List spreadsheet

AO1070, on June 24, 2015 at 7:43 AM Posted in Planning 5 32

Does anyone have a guest list spreadsheet template that they love or recommend? Preferably one that tracks who we are giving a plus 1 to and tracks if the save the date was sent, wedding invitation sent, RSVP received, etc. If it helps/matters, this is for a destination wedding.

Thank you!! I really appreciate everyone's help!

I made my own. Excel is one of favorite things in the world- so I had a blast creating the workbook. I use it to track everything. There are a lot of pre designed ones out there, I just wanted mine to be tailored exactly to my needs.

We use excel. Our columns go 1. guest and address 2. phone number 3. type of guest(my family, Fh family, friends) with color coding for future seating chart 4. number invited 5. number rsvp'd 6. special menu requests(this per our venue) 7. what hotel are they staying at. 8. will they attend after party

We change the color of the first column once they we have received their response back.

I have researched spreadsheets and even created my own, but I still am not satisfied. I am hoping someone out there has a good template I could use! Smiley smile

I started by exporting a WW report into Excel after I filled out the guest list and then added columns as needed. So glad I did because I ended up using online RSVPs and I don't have to track that by hand now. WW's list automatically updates for you if you do it through them. No need to reinvent the wheel - you have enough to do, I am sure.

If your guest list is on your WW account you can export the list and you can customize it to the columns you want as well

We used Google docs. It made it easier so either one of us could check off who had responded. We also shared it with our parents so they could put family addresses in.

I'm using WW, but I think I'll make a more detailed one on Google Docs. The WW one is great though.

I use Excel for my guest list, wedding budget, recording addresses, etc. You can customize it any way you want.

I have one in google docs that if I'm remembering correctly, I got off of APW. (A practical wedding). They had templates for everything. I'm sure I modified it but look there to see what they have.

    I'm using this one - https://docs.google.com/previewtemplate?id=0AhN0y99GtIFTdEc0ZzFkMU8tZmFTSVp3dmhhMlRycWc&mode=public

Just click on the 'use this template' button and save it to your drive.

Google docs all the way! It was helpful when my MOH wanted addresses and names for the bridal shower.

I'm using the WW guest list. I've taken the time to really play with and learn all the tricks and it's perfect. There's a lot of options with the WW guest tool, but some of them you really have to look for.

Reports can be exported as well which come in excel.

We made a spreadsheet in Excel and keep it in Office Online, it's just like Google docs but works for FH since he only has a hotmail account. That way we can both edit it without having to mail each other the same file endlessly
