You are a ANGEL for being this nice! if you are having a plated dinner I would be very blunt. there will be no seat or meal for her mother, and she should be asked to leave if she does attempt to stay for the reception! hold your ground! and I hope you have an amazing wedding day regardless of this mess!

This is wild! You have some patience, that's for damn sure. I could not imagine. I'm dealing with some of my own drama (not totally dissimilar--I had a first cousin decide she was just bringing her kids to my wedding even though I was crystal clear on the save the date and invitation and had to reach out to her and tell her that her kids weren't invited), but at least when I told her that, she said she just won't be coming, she didn't decide to do something else with it!

UM WHAT?! I would say well it is your problem, and if you don't address this with your baby mama and YOUR MIL, she is going to look really dumb standing by a table since a seat will NOT be added.

Oh my, I've learned that people use your wedding as their personal family reunion! What is that? Are you footing the bill? No? Then buzz off! And I hope she just decides not to come or if she does, she at least gives you some peace of mind and you don't have to deal with her on your day!

Oh man if my fiance told me his family was my problem I'd loose it! Actually it will be his problem when his brother gets kicked out because his gf cant follow instructions. I'd just mention that to him. It's also his problem because she is making you upset and that should be enough for him to make it his problem.

The nerve of this woman!!! Omg I would lose my s*** if this happened to me. I am an angry crier, so I get it... but get those tears out and stand your ground! Your response was more than appropriate. And I’m sorry, but you need to get your FH in check here, this is HIS family and it is both of your wedding, so it is 100% his problem! Ugh, I am angry for you!! Do not let this woman get her way. I would uninvite them at this point. And yes, her baby DOES, in fact, count. She has no right to invite anyone to your weeding. Next time, you need to really be rude, since she obviously doesn’t get it. Keep us posted!
