Guest having problems logging in on wedding website...

Some of our guests are having trouble logging into our website. They are telling me they keep typing in their name and the page just keeps refreshing to the login page. They can’t even get into our website at all. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or know what might be the problem?

    Hi Alyssa! Do you know what kind of device or browser they were using when their page refreshed like that?

    I am unsure of what device or browser. It has happened to a handful of people, and they seem to all be in the older crowd. Haha What web browser should they be using? Are there any devices that they should noit be using?

    Typically, we will see some issues with Internet Explorer since that browser hasn't been updated in a few years! Outside of that, just make sure that they are using the native browser to their mobile device if they are on mobile!

    Hi Dani,

    Some people who were having issues did figure it out by using a different web browser... and some didnit on their phones and it worked. We still have a few people who can’t get past the log in page even when they switched up the web browser.

    Just wanted to throw this out there, I turned off the Welcome Form so guests don't have to login now. One friend tried his phone and several browsers with no luck, so this fixed the problem. If you are open to not collecting guests names this is a good fix.

    Alyssa,

    From here I went to my wedding website (in edit mode), while on the initial welcome page selected "Settings" near the top left (at least on my computer), that opens up options to the enter information, I scrolled down to "Privacy" and there you can turn off the Welcome Form.


    Hope that helps!
