Warning: Picture Heavy!

So, I've been back n forth about whether to do the traditional guest book or to have the guest book and something else or just do something else. Here are my other ideas, tell me what you think?

All good ideas, tough choice. Lol, sorry I know that doesn't help...but I'm having a hard time deciding on our guest book too.

Lots of cool ideas! I'm doing the drop heart guest book! I also think the puzzle guest book is really cool. I would go with a non traditional guest book. You can always display the puzzle or drop heart guest book somewhere around your house.

If you are going to do something in addition to a traditional guestbook, I would recommend the date night jar!

I'm also considering doing a slightly more traditional guest book and something else, not sure if that helps! I'm thinking about doing a canvas with a watercolor in our wedding colors with our date blocked out in white, I'm probably not describing that well and can supply a photo if you're interested! This is definitely my top choice for a guest book as it is something we can hang up and look at all the time but I am also considering doing a secondary thing for fun, and putting it out a cocktail hour just to give people something to do and if they don't do it then it's not a big deal! 😊 so, that's kind of my suggestion? You are more traditional guest book, or whatever you choose to do as a guest book, then maybe put out the more fun thing later at the reception as an optional thing?

I really love the dropping hearts into a frame idea. FH and I are going the non-traditional route because I know if we have a book it'll just get stuffed on a shelf somewhere never to see the light of day again. We're both really into astronomy, so we're going to do a star map of the night we're getting married over our city and then having everyone sign the canvas. That way we can hang it and enjoy it.

All are really cute we are doing a big letter B (last name Boss). Going to paint it in the wedding colors and have everything sign that, that way we can then hang it up at home after the wedding.

Cute ideas. We're doing a Words of Wisdom for the Mr. & Mrs. I got the box at Hobby Lobby and some advice cards off Amazon. I think they will be fun to read through after our wedding rather than reading names of people. Then what do I do with a bunch of signatures?

The one with the frame looks great 👍🏻I’ve been eyeballing that idea for the longest time..I may just do it. Unless something better beats it!

It also depends on what your venue and theme is, find one that’s fits it best

We’re doing the puzzle piece guestbook (not in tree form though) and the date jar idea - I saw an idea on Pinterest that had different levels, so a green popsicle stick was for free date ideas, another color was for low cost ideas and a third was for more expensive dates

I'd love to see it, if for nothing more than inspiration and to see something really cute! Thanks!

This is kind of what I was thinking with the canvas one, so people can sign/initial a leaf and we can hang it afterwards

I was thinking that if I do a puzzle it would be something else too. Not that I don't absolutely love nature and the tree puzzle looks amazing but I would probably choose something else. What shape's yours going to be?

I like the date night and bucket list ideas, which kind of go together, but I think you also have to be honest with yourself if you would keep that and do the suggestions or just trash it later. I decided I definitely don't want a traditional guestbook that gets shoved into a bookshelf to be forgotten, so I've decided to do something that we can/will display in the house. I'm leaning towards either a large wooden "W" everyone can sign for our new shared last name or a canvas with an image people can sign on/around. I also saw someone post another time about picking a coffee table book from the city they lived in and were getting married in and having people pick their favorite page to sign. There are so many options!

The peach colored one (website in right bottom corner) is how I plan to do ours but instead of "I do" I'll put our date (11.14.2020) because I like that better. Our colors are black, white, and red. So white canvas, red watercolor, and black signatures is the plan haha.
I also attached another watercolor idea for you that I had saved but didn't like as much because of the state shape but others may really like that idea. I also prefer the white out as opposed to black text but again, thought I'd just post it as an extra idea! 😊

I love this idea!! The state would be nice for us (West Virginia) because we'll be moving soon after the wedding. I think your idea will look so gorgeous!

I think I'm leaning towards either the Birthdays & Anniversary one, the Canvas one or the newly added watercolor one!

Thank you! 😄 I got it off Pinterest haha. I actually got them both off there lol. You can find them (and a ton of similar ones) on there or etsy if you're looking to buy or the first one is DIY! Good luck with whatever you end up picking! I'm sure it will be amazing! 😊

I got one! How about doing a yearbook style guest book??? Print out some pictures with text on them (let Canva be your best friend) and create a book with it! Or even use shutterfly to make a book.

I love the birthdays/anniversary one! I think were doing guest log (signing a slab of wood to hang in our house) but I'm defiantly considering something like the calender maybe at the tables.
