Guest Book Ideas for Small Wedding?

We put our engagement photos in a book and we’re going to have our guests sign in it with a special photography paper grade pen.

Be aware that only 1/3 will sign anything. It’s ok to skip it too

But you can have them sign a wide photo matte around an engagement picture with acid-free archival pens

I skipped them. I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever noticed/signed the guest book at a wedding. Most guests don't actively seek them out.

We are big on board games so we’re going to get a customized Jenga game!

We did something like this. The picture above is from etsy. We customized it with our countries and favorite colors. Most of our guests signed it and we love it. For us it's a beautiful memory of our wedding and a picture of our story (we're from different countries). It Gangs in out appartement now. We had about 80 guests.

I had a thumbprint canvas! I wanted art I could display or something in general I could display. Guest books I feel just get left on a shelf for dust to gather

Everyone signed my guest book at my first wedding! We did a canvas with our names on it. I love signing guest books at weddings! Definitely don’t skip it 🙂. You could do a cute wood panel with your names for people to sign or something you could hang in your house or apartment to remember the day.

I’m going to do a Polaroid camera station ! Will find either a blank guest book or guest book that has spot for the film then a spot to sign

We are having a ceramic serving platter as our guest book. A family friend of mine did this for their wedding and they use it for holidays. I love our platter so much, the wedding is in 3 days and I’m still in the fence about having people sign it.

We made a photo book full of pictures of us over the 8 years we've been together. Each page had only one or two pictures with lots of space all around. So each guest signed their names and left us a little message or well wish. I really like it and even now, over a year later, it's on our coffee table and we still flip through it or someone else will flip through it when they come over to our house. I could see why you wouldn't want a typical guest book where the people just sign their name and that's it, but a fun creative one can be a good memento from the wedding. You won't necessarily know exactly who all is there just based on your final headcount and pictures. It's a busy hectic day and it's easy to miss people or forget people.

We filled our guest book with these! Still a “book”, but felt a little more cute and fun!
