Grr I'm so sick of trying to find these! Help! Please!!

Cyndi K, on February 15, 2012 at 8:39 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 13

I'm making my own "hand fan" programs. Trying to find jumbo popcycle sticks is making me crazy! I went to hobby lobby (my go to place) and the lady sent me to a bin where I had to pick them out of a bunch of other wooden shapes and then they were 25 cents each! I know they are out there cheaper but where? I was hoping oriental trading would have them since I'm placing an order through them but all I can find are small ones included in craft kits. Has anyone seen these around??

I honestly have no idea, but maybe a store for teachers? If not, looks like you and FH will be eating a lot of popsicles this summer! Smiley winking

    Good luck!

Do you have a Michael's or A.C. Moore near you? They might have what you are looking for. I know that teaching stores also carry them.

I got wavy paddle fan sticks on ebay. I liked these ones better than the straight ones.

Go to a paint store and ask for paint stir sticks.... Then spray paint white or in your choice of color I'm sure they are cheap, and maybe even free if you don't tell them you will be painting over their advertising!

As a teacher, these are a must need for the classroom. Walmart sells them, and so does Michaels. The last box I bought was at walmart and I got 1000 in a box. I don't remember how much I paid for them tho! It can't be more then 5 dollars tho....
