Good Morning Ladies,

FH is officially a groomzilla. He argues with me about the colors, he argues with me about the girls dresses, he argues with me about the suits, the decor, etc. I AM SO OVER THIS WEDDING PLANNING! We do not agree on anything regarding the wedding. He wants white, ice blue and gold. I want white, black and gold. The wedding is a little under 3 months away and we have no time to keep going back and forth. I just decided to give in to get things ordered and get it over with. Never have a seen a man so involved as he is. Anyone else dealing with a groomzilla? Can any of you ladies help me visualize these colors together? I have attached a picture of our venue as well as a pic of how the ceremony will be set up.

@ Vaniece H. Thanks!! I would "like" your comment also.

I have noticed there are not a lot of grooms here, but since we are part of this wedding thing too, I feel it is important to give the mans opinion on this one.

Let me say that my FH is a wonderful man whom spoils me dearly. He by no means is controlling or tries to make it be his way or no way. I would not be okay with that and frankly we wouldn't be engaged if it was that type of relationship. Again I have NO PROBLEM with him being actively involved with planning with me. My father paid for the venue, photography, cake and my pampering the day prior and of. FH and I will split the rest, other than my dress expense.

He and his family are very much into weddings and planning so he has always invisioned his. He has been in 5 weddings in the 3 years we have dated.

Another reason that his colors mean so much to him is bc he is in a fraternity where the colors are blue and white. I understand the importance of it so I let him have it although I am not crazy about them.

Now I am just trying to figure out ways to pull it all together. What color dresses, what color suits, decor, etc.

Oh and thanks so much on the venue compliments! I love it! It is the Venetian Room downtown Atlanta.

Can you incorporate all the colors you both want with a paisley print in places such as the mens ties, table runners, cake design, ribbons on the bouquets/ bridal party flowers etc.?

Beautiful venue. I don't have a groomzilla, but he has his ideas. They come from left field, but at least he has/wants input. Other times I ask and he tells me "I don't want to look at any more- I siad I liked the first one" You can't just look at one thing. he is that way about the vendors too. Wants to go with the first we talk to .
