Groomsmen Can't Make Wedding

What about pre-recording, or even using Skpe to deliver a very sincere and heartfelt speech to surprise the bride and groom with during the reception toasts? I'm sure they will be understanding of your situation and would find this very sentimental and thoughtful

First off, knowing your name would be helpful. Second, sending them a video to play at the reception that you're really sorry that you couldn't make it but wanted to show them gratitude etc. Third, a card and a gift off of their registry etc is always a nice touch. PS. Why are you getting married on a Thursday and this wasn't mentioned?!

Send a thoughtful card and maybe a nice gift. Try to make it to see the new couple soon. I'm sure they understand your situation, I'm sorry you have to miss your brother's wedding, that has to be hard for you too.

Do they know yet that you can't make the trip? How soon until their wedding?

My name is Mike. I'm actually not getting married at all I accidentally clicked a date. Maltese that sounds like a great idea. That had crossed my mind as well I just wasn't sure if the bride would mind. A curve ball on her wedding night was a little concern of mine.

What would be a tasteful length?

If my FH's brother couldn't make it to our wedding but was thoughtful enough to either set up a Skype speech with help of the best man (I would also recommend talking to your mother for help, too) I would be thrilled because I would know how much it would mean to FH.

What I would do is speak to BM (best man) and MOG...you are going to need their help in coordinating with the DJ and venue to set up all the necessary equipment and ask that it be the last speech of the hour (as I bet it will bet the most emotional). A good length would be 3-5 minutes...its short, but not too short and a lot of love can be given in that amount of time.

If you did a video I would suggest keeping it between 2-5 minutes. I agree that is a great idea, Maltese.

Maltese's suggestions would make me tear up like a baby out of happiness. If your brother's wife gets upset, then he needs to dump her!

What kind of template would you make for the speech? Its not the best man speech so im not too sure
