The groomsmen will have the same suit and tie but will be in a darker gray suit.

I like the mix and match approach. The groom should stand out just like the bride should stand out.

None! If we were having them it would most likely be mixed.

I think the groom should stand out - it's his day too! My groom wore a burgundy suit and black paisley tie and the groomsmen wore black suits a solid burgundy tie.

Ours is going matching. The only thing changing color is the tie and boutonniere where the first and only groomsman will be with a dark green tie and white boutonniere, the best man will be wearing a burgundy tie with also a white boutonniere and the future husband will be completely in cream and white with his boutonniere in burgundy matching my bouquet.

FH will stand out by adding a green jacket. However, all will wear wicklow county kilts and flashes, black kilt socks and white button downs so at the reception, he will likely look just like them.

I left that decision to FH and he decided to have his suit be a different shade of the same color in order for him to stand out.

If we were to have a big wedding, my fiancé would probably go for mix it up. He'd want his groomsmen to look the same, and he'd wear something different yet complimentary.

I think Fh is going to wear a 3 piece suit in the same color as the groomsmen but they will only have the vest and no jacket Smiley smile

OUur groomsman are going to match each other, but my FH will be a little different. The guys are wearing back pants and a red dress shirt and black bow tie, while my FH is wearing the black pants, but a white shirt/black vest and a black bolo tie. Same color scheme, but he'll be a little different Smiley smile

Matching for the most part. We are having the guys wear khakis and white button-ups (tropical theme) but might have them wear different color shirts underneath.

I really wanted much FH to stand out amongst his groomsmen since this day is about him, too! He will be in a full navy suit and his guys will just be in suit pants and ties with possibly suspenders.

Well, I always thought the groomsmen would match, but seeing this I'm not so sure. I actually really love the way the groom stands out in a different shade than the groomsmen. Not sure if my FH will agree, but I like that its an option!
