Groomsmen Attire - Matching or Mixing It Up?

Mixing it up

FH is wearing a navy blue suit with red suspenders & red bow tie. His best man is wearing the same color pants & suspenders with a regular tie instead of a bow tie.

They mixed it up! I had ties made for them and we told them wear anything formal that's black, gray or purple or all of the above

Mixed. Husband wanted to stand out from the groomsmen so he wore a dark grey suit and they wore navy suits.

Mostly matching. The only difference will be the color of the vest and the tie to differentiate FH from the groomsmen.

My fiance & ring bearer is wearing a burgundy shirt, black tie and black slacks. The groomsmen are wearing black shirts, black slacks and burgundy ties. No jackets. I got inspiration from the attached pic.

We will be mixing it up! Everyone is wearing navy, but FH is wearing a suit jacket while everyone else is wearing suspenders.

There all gonna wear the same white tuxedos

Mixed FH will wear black shirt with turquoise vest and black jeans while groomsmen will wear turquoise shirts and black jeans.

groom & groomsmen

My groom is standing out! He has a nice blue suit already, and that's what he wants to wear. It's a brunch wedding, early in the day. So it's more casual. He didn't want jackets, ties, suspenders, vests or bowties. So he'll be wearing a nice grey dress shirt with his dress pants and brown belt and shoes. Groomsmen will have grey pants, and coral/peach shirts with brown belt and shoes. They are also "mixed/mismatched" because they are wearing different colors than the bridesmaids (sage green).

The groomsmen will all have the same suit but the best men will have a different color tie than the groomsmen.

Mostly matching. There will only be one best man and one groomsmen, so I feel like with a small number, if we mismatch things it will look like a mistake. FH did say he would like to be different from the others and wear a bowtie instead of a tie!

Matching mostly, except the color of the tie.

Yeah my fiance will definitely wear something different than the groomsmen, no doubt. He should stand out.

FH is wearing his dress blues. The guys are wearing a black suits.

Groom will stand out with a vest and different colored tie.

The brothers are wearing blue. The groom is wearing black.

We mixed it up (only by a little though)! The hubs and the groomsmen (minus the groomswoman) were in matching black tuxes, but the groomsmen had white shirts, black vests, and hunter green ties, and hubby had a black shirt, with ivory vest and ivory bowtie to match my dress.
