So I know it’s not traditional at all but both my fiancé’s parents are deceased and so is my father. My brother will be walking me down the aisle and I will be obviously be dancing with him. My fiancé doesn’t want to dance with either of his aunts so I was looking for suggestions on a song for him to dance with my mother to... not sure if he will even be into it but I’d love some suggestions. Thank you❤️

    I think this is a lovely idea, Lauren.

    This WeddingWire article has a list of great song suggestions. Many of them aren't super specific or related directly to a mother/son relationship so they could be great - 28 Mother-Son Dance Songs That Will Move Mom to Tears.

    A song that’s not on the list I love and think would be a great pick is “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.

    Does your FS or mom have a favorite artist who could have a great song option? It could also be a nice idea to use a song by your FS’s parents favorite artist.

    Often a traditional country waltz, where everyone knows the tune but using no lyrics, works out well. Then when others are invited to join in and dance, it sounds and feels natural to everyone. Lyrics specific to the couple, daddy and daughter, should be limited to one or two spotlight songs, not a whole procession of them.
