Green and white fall wedding?

Dessa, on September 2, 2020 at 6:51 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10
Does it seem appropriate? At first we were going with a burgundy and navy wedding but my venue is white white white like white on white. I already pain in full for a date in October. I didn’t realize white and green weddings were a thing until recently and I’m in love with them but are they fall appropriate? They seem more summer...Also just worried about how to make my venue more “fall” in general with all the white. Someone HELP

Green and white would be great for the fall. it doesn't need to coincide with the season the wedding is in

You can use any colors anytime of the year. Look at Mother Nature for inspiration. Green and white is very appropriate and beautiful for fall.

Green and white will look beautiful in the fall! Neutrals and earth tones look good at any time of year imo.

What kind of vibe are you going for otherwise?

We're sort of doing 'elegant rustic' and adding in wood accents (wooden crates, slabs for the centerpieces, etc.) and lanterns.

Our palette is navy, copper, sage, ivory, grey and wood.

When you are surrounded by art gallery white, white, white, sometimes either a mix of uplighting or large ball lanterns can cast a slightly golden, palest apricot, or a wine blush, that will make other things softer, other colored things a deeper richer color.
The ho color of fall mums is great. If the lighting changes all that white just a little all over, it will make a difference.
Or you can use cloth or paper pictures and lighting to create a mood, toning down the white by covering some with large fall pictures, and a very pale golden tint elsewhere.Green and white fall wedding? 1

Pretty much any colors can be used at anytime of year. The only exception I would say would be red and green since they are Christmas colors. That being said, I think white and green would be very pretty.

We’re going for sort of a rustic glam. I love your point about neutrals! Maybe it will be fine! I think it would compliment my venue well I was just worried it would be too summer. Thank you for your advice!

I’m doing green and white for my October wedding! It truly goes with any season and is so simple and beautiful in my opinion. I’m just adding in elements of black and gold to give it a slightly more moody vibe.

My wedding has been moved to next November and I am having a sage green, white, and gray color scheme. I think when you stick with neutrals it can work any time of year. And if you like it, that’s all that really matters.

This is what I'm doing!! I'm bringing the Fall in with the textures, rather than the colors. So velvet green table runners, lots of candles, maybe white pumpkins, and some what of a moody vibe overall to tie in the white and green. Here's my Pinterest board in case it's helpful!
