I posted a while back about how I was stuck between 2 wedding band designs- one was too chunky, and one was a beautiful design but too thin.
I found a jeweler on Etsy who had a design that was very similar to the ring I loved that was too thin- so I messaged him and asked if he could make it at 3mm, instead of 2mm. 4 CAD drawings sent back and forth later, my ring came today and it is PERFECT. It's EXACTLY what I wanted. I can't wait for my wedding because I already don't want to take it off!
I wanted something slightly larger than my e-ring, with interspaced diamonds and a unique design. I didn't want it to match the e-ring exactly, I wanted it to have its own identity... also, I wanted it to be thick enough to stand on its own should I choose to wear it solo.
Also, it came out to HALF the price of the original too-thin band that I modeled it after!! SO HAPPY!!
