Going away(can't do sparklers)

Andrea, on August 19, 2016 at 6:03 PM Posted in Planning 0 15

Our venue doesn't allow sparklers for the "going away." What did you use or are you going to use for the send off if you didn't use sparklers.

I saw something cool- it was like a push pop that exploded dried flowers. Really cute. Bhldn.com

We bought glow sticks, but didn't actually do a send off.

I always thought bubbles would be cute, if each guest had a thing of bubbles and blew bubbles as you were exiting

I went to one with bubbles, it was awful. They went everywhere got in people's eyes and made people's hair look gross.

We did bubbles and loved it! We had the cutest little bubbles shaped like Wedding Cakes. They made for some great photos!

Bubbles!! I remember getting bubble wands at weddings growing up and I loved blowing bubbles at the bride and groom and I've always wanted to walk out amidst bubbles

If your sendoff will be in a somewhat dark area and that's why you wanted sparklers, I agree on the glow sticks. If it won't be quite that dark or you don't like glow stick colors, I saw sparkly mylar ribbon wands on Amazon. Those might reflect the light nicely and show up in the dim lighting.
