So I found this out and I'm not sure how to react. This past weekend was my bachelorette and my FH's bachelor parties. Two of our female friends showed up to his bachelor party. Now that in itself sort of took me aback, but that's not the part that's making me miffed.

One of the girls, a bridesmaid of mine, said all along that she was coming to mine. The morning of, she texted my MOH and told her she wasn't coming because her uncle came in from Poland. BM's wedding is this Saturday. I'm annoyed she bailed.

The other girl, BM's cousin, told us upfront that she couldn't come because her father (BM's uncle) was coming in and she wanted to spend time with him.

Well, both girls showed up at FH's bachelor party. I haven't said anything to either, and I'm not sure that I will. Mostly because I don't want to cause drama before BM's wedding, but also because it already happened and saying something wouldn't do any good.

How would you react? This is weird right?

Yes their significant others attended the bachelor party, but 3 other girls whose SOs were at the bachelor party came with me.

SO what did your FH think about it? Because mine would think it would be weird as hell if 2 of mine showed up to hang out with them when they should have been with me.

Sounds like they didn't want to go out of town for yours and thought it was okay to "tag along" with their boyfriends to the bachelor party.

WTH? Were they confused and thought they were showing up to yours and then didn't leave? But how would they know where his was...this is very strange...

Omg Lauren just literally LOL at work!

OP sounds strange to me. I would be a little bothered too especially since one is a BM. I don't know if I could let it slide without it mentioning something.

His was party at FMIL's house, limo to club, downstairs of club was rented out and they had strippers there and then after party at FMIL house.

Mine was brewery tour in Milwaukee, party at the hotel, Buffalo wild wings for dinner, strip club and then country bar , limo driving us around all night. One of the girls showed up later, in time for the strip club and partying though

FH didn't really think anything of it until he saw my shocked and annoyed face at which point he realized it was weird

neither are insecure, they are both in some of the most secure relationships in our group!

Well since it wasn't in the same town, it makes more sense now. And that their SO's were there. Still weird. I guess they just wanted to party?

I agree they probably wanted to party and party with their SO's... but neither has texted me yet this week which is also weird.

I dunno still weird. I'd be annoyed. I have a big mouth so I'd probably say something to them - it is rude to ditch your party for your FHs especially if one of them is a BM.

Why were they invited would be the question that I'd be dying to have answered...

@Laura, I am 100% positive they weren't invited. But since both had SO's that were, they probably heard the plans at some point or another

The distance thing makes sense that they couldn't make it to yours, but they could have gone out anywhere else. FH and I do a ton of stuff together, but if I ever showed up to a bachelor party he was at he would be absolutely mortified.

I have no advice, because I have become pretty passive during wedding planning for the sake of keeping the peace.

I would find this super weird. Milwaukee is yes a destination but seriously? It's like maybe a two hour drive/train ride depending on where in the city you are. I obviously don't know these girls but they come across as the type of women who like to show up at things like this to be the only girl in the room/to be the "cool" girl at the bachelor party. In college, they were known as "frat rats". Again, I don't know them but it seems weird to me, especially if she's in your bridal party.

I would also think it was weird. Isn't the point of a bach party to be girls or guys only (minus strippers)?

I haven't read all the comments yet but I have to say that this definitely wouldn't fly with me.

ETA: I read the rest of your comments and maybe they didn't want to leave their SO? Maybe they felt a little insecure since strippers were going to be there?

I would just calmly ask them straight out...maybe like "How was "insert FH bachelor party location here" and just see what they say. If they try to lie or beat around the bush..they aren't worth your time.

I want to say something, but I have to consider how to phrase it, because I definitely don't want to start drama the week before BM's wedding. Maybe I'll just text the cousin something like ' so I heard you guys had a blast at FH's bachelor party..."
