    Hey Kristina Smiley smile

This WeddingWire article has some great gift ideas for the parents - 21 Truly Sweet Wedding Gift Ideas for Your Parents or Parents-in-Law. I really like the embroidered handkerchief idea.

What do you plan on buying your parents and parents-in-law?

We are waiting til after the wedding and giving them photo books (6x6 softcover) made on shutterfly! They're not super big, but you can fit plenty of pictures within so it's like they get a mini wedding album

We're doing the same thing; possibly for FHs grandma as well since she won't be able to join us.

We're going to get them photo albums later, but we're trying to figure out a few things to give them at the rehearsal dinner too. So far we've come up with a bottle of alcohol from the distillery where we're getting married, a bottle opener I made from bourbon barrel staves for the dads and tote bags I made for the moms. My mom has helped out a lot financially so we're getting her a bigger hotel room and covering it for the weekend. Might also throw in restaurant gift cards - that's a good idea!

That's a great idea. I have been stressing this, especially since her dad may not even come. It's not like our parents need more stuff anyway. But mine still don't have a professional picture taken of me since the mid 90's!!!!

I'm going to get my parents and his parents the same thing, so there's no weird jealousy or comparison! In addition to handwritten cards, we are getting them an engraved serving/cutting board with their initial and last name. They aren't super sentimental people, so this struck me as a gift that would be useful and personal but also beautiful to display. Of course they will also receive a wedding album when we get our photos back Smiley smile

For his dad- pocket knife that is engraved with his dads name
his mom- a nice diamond bracelet that she can wear at the wedding or when ever
my bio dad-picket knife with his name engraved on it
My step mom- as well a nice two tone bracelet that she can wear at wedding or any time
my stepdad- knife with engraved name, a lighter as well engraved
my mom( my pain in the butt lol) she was the most expensive as I am now her only daughter alive. I got her 3 piece of jewelry necklace and a ring (she knows about these) I am also surprising her with a bracelet that is similar to the one I am wearing I honor of my sis.
