You can get small bottles at the dollar store or ebay for something more unique (bottle with cork).
As soon as I read that you both loved food, you cooking and him eating, I wondered what kind of foods you guys love! I think a book of recipes would be super cute! If you put it in a little photo album so you can have some cute pictures of the two of you and your "recipes for love". Heck, you can get all your family and guests involved as well. You can have your maid of honor or whomever is planning your bridal shower ask guests to also bring one of their favorite recipes. That recipe book in a bag with homemade EVOO would be amazing!

Do a Google search for wholesale foodsafe bottles. Favors are never a requirement and many guests will leave them behind so be prepared for leftovers.

The olive oil sounds like a great idea though.

We did honey jars and they seemed to be a hit.

I was a guest at a wedding that did this! I believe the bride said she found the favors on Etsy.
