as for jewelry, I think that I will be wearing a necklace that belonged to great grandmother... we will be on a hunt to find earrings to go with it!

The stainless steel cookware set has already been fulfilled on our registry! We still have a carbon steel oval roaster but its only like $130. I'm not sure why someone suggested copper.

I can only really think of jewelry being truly timeless, and that isn't really a together present, since it will most likely just be for you. FH's grandma bought us a pro kitchenaid mixer.

What about an engraved silver serving platter? You could use it at fancy dinners...it could be engraved with your monogram and wedding date.

Special toasting glasses, a framed wedding photo or maybe your wedding photo made into a canvas, a weekend away for your anniversary? Jewelry is nice, but I like something to be used by the couple. What a fun idea!
