Getting Ready Outfits - Yea or Nay?

Do you have a special 'getting ready' outfit planned for you or your whole wedding crew? Are you splurging on matching robes, shirts, or PJs for all of your bridesmaids? Or something bridal just for you? Will you wear a special 'getting ready' outfit? Yea or nay? Photo by Cooper Arthur Photography...

This is what I’m going to get them to get ready in! It’s going to be part of their gift, which is also going to include monogrammed gloves, a shawl, personalized champagne glasses, fuzzy socks, hand warmers, and a necklace! It’s a winter wedding in Michigan so it might get a bit chilly for pictures lol

Nay, I’m only having my sister as my maid of honor, no bridesmaids, and I have enough clothing as it is, I plan to just wear something nice that I already own to the venue before getting into my wedding dress and accessories there. We’re planning on having the ceremony in the evening anyway so I’ll have to have something on most of the day

What is your wedding date? My hubby and I just got married this past weekend and as it is in line with Fall, I purchased monogrammed flannel shirts for my bridesmaids. I love them! I’ve also seen button down denim shirts and satin robes as a couple of other getting ready options.

Part of their bridesmaid gift is slippers. So they are wearing those with black leggings (because who doesn't love leggings) black shirt of their choosing and I'll be wearing a white shirt.

It's 10/10/2020 here in Chattanooga. The temperature is pretty unpredictable at that time, but it will likely still be in the 80s during the day, and if we are lucky, drop down into the 60s at night. I'd like to go with a button down pajama set for my ladies, but I just know that the satin ones I see on Etsy for $20 cannot be good quality.

I’m not fully decided but I think yes! I’m thinking a cute/comfy pajama type shirt to go with leggings would be comfortable and something they could wear again

I want to get my MoH and bridesmaids matching jammies. I plan to have a mini slumber party, in my hotel room. I have one coming from California, one from Miami, one from NY and PR. I think it will be a nice treat. Also, a little welcome package or bag, to show my appreciation for them coming from so far, to be a part of my special day. It will be an added expense, but I think it's worth it. Still staying within my low budget.

Yes, it's a waste of money....but who cares! The pictures will last a lifetime. I am planning on giving my bridal party silk robes and I'll be wearing a lace robe like the one attached.
