Getting Ready Outfits - Yea or Nay?

Do you have a special 'getting ready' outfit planned for you or your whole wedding crew? Are you splurging on matching robes, shirts, or PJs for all of your bridesmaids? Or something bridal just for you? Will you wear a special 'getting ready' outfit? Yea or nay? Photo by Cooper Arthur Photography...

I purchased matching robes because I love the way they look in pictures. I tried to purchase robes that they would actually want to wear again and do not plan on personalizing them.

I am ordering a special robe to wear during hair & makeup, and I am hoping my aunt will be able to make me special PJs too!

Nay not having getting ready photos taken anyway so this would have been a wasted expense I also want the girls to be comfy and relaxed in whatever clothing they want before all the festivities

If I can afford it, YAY! I LOVE the idea!! I think it would be super cute to have everyone in similar outfits. I'm thinking comfy PJ pants with button down tops! and SLIPPERS!

Yay! Found the softest lounge/pajama pants at Walmart in a soft pink for less than $10 each so I purchased for my ladies already. Found long sleeve waffle tops that sorta match and am ironing their initials on them. Got them fuzzy slippers to keep their toes warm and I am debating on whether or not to include nice robes. But nothing that says "bridesmaid" or has our date on it or anything. I want them to reuse these jammies over and over again. 🙂 they're sort of dual purpose too, bc we're having a sleepover for the bachelorette party.

No I thought about it but it just ended up being another expense and none of my bridesmaids seemed really interested in it. We’ll just take photos/selfies with each other relaxed in whatever clothes with our phones while getting ready.

    We did not.

Personally, not my thing. Also, we had mixed parties, so it would have been complicated to get - my bridesman would not have wanted to walk around in a robe.

Also, we didn't have a hotel at all - my party either got partially ready at home, or with me at the venue, and DH's side got ready at his parents' place.

Yay! I purchased some very cute robes from Etsy. Theirs are the color of our wedding, mauve, and mine is naturally white/champagne colored. My wedding is in February, so I'm planning on having us wear black leggings and our tank tops from my bachelorette party under them. I'm so very excited!

They are cute but I am not sure if my ladies want all of this. I am already getting other things for them.

YAY! I bought floral lounge pants for all my bridesmaids, mom and FMIL. I also got them zip up hoodies (easier to change after hair and makeup is complete) with their initials. My wedding is in December so the cute satin robes would have just been too chilly for us. I also got myself lighter pants and a hoodie. They'll be so cute for getting ready pics.

I plan on wearing a cute robe but I'd kinda just like my party to wear whatever is comfortable while getting ready.
