Getting ready on the wedding day, who goes first and last?

Your hair and makeup people should be able to help you our with rhis. Usually bride is last though.

Bride is last. I made the schedule for hair and makeup with their input. Hair first, makeup last is how we did it. For the person just getting hair done, do her later in the day so she can just stay until the wedding. Good of you to have perspective but what a lovely attitude. 3 of my bridesmaids showed up at 11 am to help with stuff, unasked. The 4th one showed up at 2:00, right before pictures. I had to call her to make sure she was on the way. I could tell the other people were pissed, but I fed them at noon and gave everyone the same schedule. I love my friends and I know them well. Sleeping till 10 was a treat.

Hi! Your mua should make the schedule (I do wedding makeup myself). If she's a friend that needs help with schedule, here's the thing: you go last. Who goes first doesn't really matter, to be honest. But you should give her 45 mins to an hour with each person.

I let my MUA come up with a plan and we tweaked it slightly. I am in the middle with touch ups at the end. I have a friend getting just false lashes and she wants to be later so she had time to go makeup first etc. Just gotta figure out what works best for everyone.

Mog should be first in my opinion so she can go help the groom and his guys. Plus I wouldn't want her seeing me get ready

I have to touch base with my hair and makeup lady today, my daughter (MOH)has the most hair, and will probably take the longest. I am glad to hear how everyone handled hair and makeup, it gives me a better idea of how it goes, thank you!
