Maybe some sort of favor? My FH and I love table top games (yay for nerds!) so we're putting mini table games on each table to entertain during cocktail hour between the ceremony and dinner

Add some Dr. Who! Galifrean (forgive the spelling) words make awesome designs and the main colors for the show are blue and white, so a perfect fit! There's Tardis light strings on Amazon and I believe I saw cake toppers somewhere.

You could add marvel charms on boquets and boutineires

We are from tn too and are having a comic book/ old movie theme too. We are looking for vintage pez dispensers as favors

We're adding touches of The Princess Bride. Our reading it "mawwidge, mawwidge is what brings us...", our cake topper is also Princess Bride, and the table numbers have a Princess Bride quote. All subtle ways to bring the geek out.

Instead of table numbers, have each table named after a comic book or other nerdy item you can have the comic book or whatever on the table. It would be a cute name idea and adds more decoration to the table. Your cake could be as nerdy as you like (I love seeing Non-Traditional wedding cakes).
