Future husbands wedding outfit

Briann, on May 13, 2019 at 6:54 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 23
Help! So I've been so stuck on what I should have my groom wear and what I want him and the groomsmen to wear. I was thinking about having them just wear a dress shirt a tie and dress pants but I don't want them to look underdressed. We are getting married at a winery so I don't know for sure what to do. I want them to be comfortable but not homeless looking. I don't know what to do

Yeah no! He should dress up a little bit more than like he is going to a sporting event. Is your wedding semi formal or formal?

I would tell him, he needs to dress up. Especially if your wedding is a semi formal or formal event. Give him some options to choose from. For a winery, I think dress shirt, tie, and pants would be perfect. You can always add the jacket if you want. Giving him some options to choose from may help him be less indecisive.

I thought that maybe it would be a good idea that they just wear the dress shirt and pants and a tie then have the jacket just in case we want some pictures of him in it.

That would be a good option! Most suit and tux rental places, the jacket is included in the price.

If it is more semi formal then you could get away with just pants, dress shirt, tie, and optional jacket. If it is formal, then I would go with a tux or suit.

We have the option to purchase the entire suit for about 299 plus tax which I wouldn't mind spending if we can find the right suit color. I don't want them to be overheated due to it being in the middle of august

We did tuxes, to me this is a once in a lifetime and how many times do you get to see him dressed up. My FH looks so hot dressed up. He wanted to do jeans, but I overrode that lol.

If my fiance had a choice it would be literally basketball shorts and a cut off.

Well since your wedding is more than a year away you still have plenty of time. Personally, I would have him match the formality of your dress. If you dress is formal then he should wear something formal, but if you dress is more laid back then he doesn't have to dress up as much. I certainly wouldn't let my fiance wear basketball shorts and a t-shirt under any circumstances though.

I would say wait until you have your dress picked out as that sets the tone for the formality.
