Future hubby helping out

Mine doesn't really come up with ideas, I usually just ask do you like this or this better ? Occasionally he'll have requests or things he would like (send off soft pretzel station), but nothing crazy and overly exciting. He was helpful at the tasting , lol!

Mine wasn’t. He would ask and help make things like centerpieces but for the most part it was all me

Omg mine is like taking over the wedding. Haha I tell him its my choice haha but he's doing all the centerpieces and decorations

Nah my FH isn’t helping much. He listens to me and gives me feedback when I ask but for the most part he’s not involved. I like it that way. Haha I’m kind of controlling and creative so really enjoying this whole thing while my FH would hate most of this.

Mine is helpful when I ask his opinion on something! He really just wants me to be happy with the decisions at the end of the day (like decor, etc). We did our food & cake tasting together, decided on what we wanted to serve from our tastings, have decided on bar service packages together & we regularly talk about budget. Other than that I’m handling everything & I'm okay with it!

I give him choices. Here are 3 cake designs I like-which do you like best- sort of thing. The only thing he hasn’t had input on is my dress. I’m not super picky, have no theme, and have an idea in my head want it want. Some of the stuff I did like center pieces as he could care less.

I’m actually happy mine isn’t too involved. I get to just do what I want. He has certain things that he really wanted and I included it because he let me do and choose whatever I wanted.

Mine fiancé is only helping out with the big vendors. All of the small details like color scheme, wedding theme, florist, decorations. He is not putting much ideas or opinions into it. And its better that way because his ideas are out of control

I just assign him things he’s responsible for: musicians, cake, alcohol/bar/bartender, officiant, thank you cards, guest favors, etc. Basically, things I have few preferences on.

Mines is boring never have any ideas lol smh but its ok I plan away with my wedding planner whose my maid of honoree

My FH has picked out the cake...that’s it. He didn’t even what to pick out his tux. He only had an opinion about the color of the tux. Our wedding is formal and he has never been to a formal event before. He keeps saying he’s excited to see how I pull it all together.

Every couple is different when it comes to planning, but of course for many brides it's nice to get feedback so you feel valued. I'm glad that my FH has some sort of vision that at least he gives honest opinions and truly cares about the day. He's not somebody who's going to go research a photographer, but he sat and Skype them all with me and looked through their portfolios. In the end it was easier to hire someone because his opinion was quite decisive. I don't think he'll care enough to argue me on anything though, but only time will tell... 😂😅

I made it very clear to DH that this wedding was a two person operation, and if he didn't help out, it wasn't happening.

If we didn't like the other person's idea, we went back to the drawing board. Most of the time we didn't have to.
