Is it weird to make a go fund me for our wedding? Part of me feels like it’s being rude asking other people to pay for our wedding but the other part (the cheap a**hole part) thinks that it’s not that rude because when the wedding day comes up, we are paying for over 100 people to eat expensive...

It's OK to be economical. It's not OK to ask guests to subsidize the cost of your event.

As long as you have food and drinks and comfortable seating for them, you're good.

Weird isn't the right word. It's more tacky and inappropriate. If you can't afford to host 200 guests, only invite 50. If I was invited to a wedding but saw a GoFundMe for it, you're asking your guests to pay for your celebration. It'd be like asking someone else to pay for your significant other's Christmas gift...

I’m not expecting anything or trying to ask for anything. I just have people messaging me asking where to send money. I just wanted to know if it was a good idea to have a fund account to send them to.

Your literal first part asks if it's rude to ask other people to pay for your wedding. We said no, you can't ask for money from people.
