Friday is fine. Been to many Friday weddings that were a blast! We’re getting married on 4/3/21 because we love the date which lands on a Saturday. Kinda wish it was a Friday so we could have the weekend before flying out on Monday for our honeymoon.

Friday is definitely fine for a wedding! My fiance and I intentionally chose a Friday wedding, and my sister had a Friday wedding too. People that want to be there will find a way to attend.

I did and it was even more controversial since we have Jewish family who are supposed to observe Friday as seder, but everyone was fine with it. It also allows people traveling a weekend to themselves to recover before heading back to work.

We’ve been to many Friday night weddings and they are great. I would get my STD’s out a little early so people can plan to take off work if needed.

I think that in 2021 we will see an increase in Friday weddings - a lot of ppl postponed their weddings from 2020, plus newly engaged ppl. There are only so many Saturdays in a year.

I'd say it is not ideal for guests, but if you start it at 6:00 p.m. or later, that would be fine.
