Friday wedding brides!

Friday bride to be! It was the only available date that fit both our schedules and gave us a honeymoon lol

We chose friday because our venue doesn't require a minimum head count to use their grand ballroom on Fridays and we fell in love with the idea of getting married on Friday the 13th (yea we're weird like that haha)

Glad to know there are more of us out there! We chose Friday because it's cheaper in all aspects and lets our guests still have their weekend. Our ceremony will be in the evening so people can still go work if they want to. Most of our guests will be locals, and several of those who are out of town said they will be taking that Friday.

We're having a Friday ceremony at 4pm at our resort. We wanted a Saturday, but it wasn't available and we weren't willing to move it to a different date since we have to work around my school schedule and his work schedule as well, but I love our date & its been workable for most of our guests.

I'm a Friday bride as well! I'm getting married June 16th and I honestly picked that day because I was trying to do the closest Day to my grandfathers birthday. I was very close with him and would have loved to have my wedding fall on his birthday. His birthday is June 15th which is a Thursday, which wasn't going to work out to well, so I decided to do the day after. I have found though too it works better for my work schedule and it is cheaper!

Friday night wedding based off of a special date for FH & I. The bonus is finding the venue/vendors are more available & Friday discount from the DJ. A lot go up north on our wedding weekend for the fall colors & they can still do that on Sat/Sun. We are planning a late afternoon wedding ceremony, 1st look & other things to have the evening flow better for a Friday night.

Friday was cheaper

My wedding is the only wedding going on. My ceremony starts at 5:30pm. My guest have the whole weekend so no work the next day for majority of my guest. Also the date we wanted fell on a Friday and we had to have that date.

First off our wedding was not cheaper. Besides that we chose Friday because we wanted to have a smaller wedding so in order to allow that Friday's seemed to be our only options at venues that we liked. Also we really like the idea that there most likely won't be a wedding the night before so we can have our rehearsal at our venue the night before. Also we're getting married on Friday the thirteenth and super excited for it!

I'm also a part of the Friday wedding squad we want our date for the math part of it and because it's my Grandma's and FH's late Grandpa's birthday and it just happened to fall on Friday. Our will be at 5 or 530 and I am a bit concerned about traffic so we're looking for venues not too far from home.

Also Friday!! I had to talk FH into it at first, but it's already saved us $1400 on the venue and discounts from other vendors. I had a freakout moment when I thought we should do a Saturday instead but then FH had come to order Friday. We'll have a lot of oot and want to be able to attend Saturday with those who stuck around.

Yes Friday! Due to a shorter engagement (11 months) most venues were all booked for Saturday's in the fall already.

-Thousands of dollars cheaper!!

-our out of town guests can travel comfortably

-everyone has the rest of the weekend to enjoy

-We can set up all our decorations anytime the week of because no one has an event before us

-We have more days to celebrate/go on honeymoon without taking off work!

I'm sure there are more reasons that I can't think of right now too haha!
