Friday wedding brides!

We chose Friday because it permits us to arrive whenever we'd like (don't have to share the day with any other events) and we can set up the night before. We also have a lot of out of town guests and we would like to be able to spend the rest of the weekend with them! A LOT of our vips are teachers, so the day of the week didn't matter as much since it's in August.

Also, @sullivan and @ak my birthday is ALSO October 28th! Haha

I am a Tuesday bride. We picked it because we did not have to book everyone and put deposits down right away. No one plans a wedding on a Tuesday. We are getting married at the beach too and it will give guest a chance to settle in for a relaxing week then enjoy the wedding about mid stay.

A saturday was available but it was far too much for us. For friday it was 174 per person and saturday was 250 per person.

ETA our ceremony is at 3 however we are having a gap i know its frowned upon but this is the norm for our circle. It works out though because cocktail hours starts at 7 so all those that cant make the ceremony because of work can make the reception

We did a Friday wedding. This was actually because my husband wanted a Friday wedding. I didn't care either way so we went with it. We had our reception in the private dining space of a restaurant. Piped in our own music via a playlist my husband put together. The food was fantastic and the service was awesome, especially since we were in a restaurant.

Also our ceremony started at 6:00.

Friday wedding over here!! We were torn between 3/23/18 and 3/24/18 because the 23rd is our anniversary but the 24th is a Saturday so we figured more people would be able to attend. The venue we couldn't live without only had Friday available so that sealed the deal for us, plus f&b minimum was $4,000 cheaper on Friday so that definitely helps! I'm hoping as long as we give guests enough notice they will be able to attend.

We went with Friday because it is less expensive. We also went with a Friday on a holiday weekend to try to help with travel for OOT guests.

Our wedding will be on a Friday night as well! We chose this because that way we get the weekend after to relax. Most of our families get the weekend off so most will only have to take Friday off and those who work the morning don't have to take a day off. Plus my FH wanted a party atmosphere and Friday night was perfect for that plus its cheaper. Our ceremony will be 6pm and we have the venue with reception area included until midnight.

Friday wedding as well! We chose a Friday because we LOVED our venue but it has a 150 guest minimum for Saturdays where Fridays guest minimum is 100. We knew right off the bat we wouldn't have been inviting 150 guests. We loved the venue so much that we couldn't let that steer us away so we chose a Friday! It is also saving us about $ 6,000 on the venue rental price, we can get ready on site starting at 9am vs 12 pm, and its been a lot easier to find vendors since they are all working on Saturdays!

I'm a Friday Bride!

I always thought my wedding would be on a Saturday, until we saw the price difference lol. That's the only reason we are having it on a Friday.

Friday Bride here. 5/18/18 our dream venue was slightly cheaper on a Friday and I like even numbers lol and I wanted in May so it worked out

Hi! We are doing a Friday for a few reasons:

1) cheaper venue fee

2) fewer minimum (100 minimum guests for friday vs 150 saturday)

3) we chose it over a sunday because we wanted people to enjoy themselves without worrying about work

4) I love Fridays

5) we are taking saturday to recoup and chill before leaving for the honeymoon on sunday

Be sure to tell your guests far in advance that it's a Friday so they can take off work or make arrangements!

I'm a Friday bride and my ceremony will also be started at 5 pm. I thought it would be nice because people can stay up late and the next is Saturday and they could sleep in. Mostly didn't want Saturday because many of my guests have church on Sundays so didn't want anyone to be too tired or have to leave early .

Friday wedding for us! The main reason we did Friday is because FH has to be back in Oregon by Monday, and we wanted a little time before we went back to real life. Our ceremony starts at 7 and the sun sets around 8, so it'll be great for pictures. Everything should wrap up around midnight.

I love a good Friday wedding; great way to start off the weekend.

Everything is cheaper, can set up whatever time I want. We're spending the next day relaxing then Sunday taking off for our honeymoon.

I'm a Friday (friYAY!) bride!!! I am having an intimate courthouse wedding, but even if we were having a big event it would still be on Friday because I am getting married in October 20th, no matter the day. It's the date I started dating my fh, and the date I got engaged. So it's the date I am getting married!!!

Our wedding is on a Friday. It was literally $3 cheaper a person - which is really nothing when it comes down to it. And nothing really has been cheaper. We are only doing a Friday because it was all the venue we wanted had. But I'm coming to terms with it because then we have our whole weekend to just chill with OOT family/friends

My DW is on a fri also FH choose the anniversary of when He proposed.

It was definitely a few thousand cheaper! We were so excited about the venue that we had to work with their availability and our budget!
