Friday Wedding Attendance

Hi everyone! I'm getting married on August 16th (Friday) and are only a few weeks away from sending out invites (yaaay!)

Just out of curiosity, any Friday brides out there that remember how many people they invited and how many RSVP'd "Yes"?

I've heard that Friday weddings tend to get slightly more declines than a Saturday wedding but I'm not sure if this is actually true.

I'm totally aware that attendance rates are drastically different among each wedding, and our budget does allow for 100% acceptance rate. I just am curious what the stats were across other weddings! Thanks in advance!

My friend got married in Jan on a Friday. She had some declines and some no shows. But mostly people were late and missed the ceremony and or left early because they were tired. But we still had fun and there plenty of guests.

We're getting married on a Friday. We invited 123 and got 98 accepted. We'll see if anyone no shows next month.

I don’t have an answer for you because my wedding is a week after yours but am following for responses. I am curious as my wedding is on a Friday too!

Great question, I am wondering the same thing. I have a minimum of 50 and invited 64 hoping to get there. Crossing fingers!

I got married on a Friday. I invited about 165. About 110 said yes, probably about 100 showed. Those that didn’t show let me know it was because they got sick, and I also had a friend pass a couple of weeks prior, so that was a couple people there that didn’t show too.
