Friday the 13th Wedding

I'm getting married on Friday, March 13th 2020! My favorite number is 13 and growing up the number has always stood out to me in sports, school... It has always been my lucky number. When we wanted to book our dream venue we requested the 24th (the day we met) but they only had the 13th! It was meant to be!

I was born on a Friday the 13th. My Fiance's lucky number is 3 and my lucky number is 13 so we decided to make our wedding date Friday March 13, 2020. 13 has been good luck for me my whole life!

25 years ago my parents got married on a Friday the 13th and are still happily going and more in love than ever. When me and my fiancee started planning our wedding, the only request I had was to get married in a Friday the 13th since it brought such luck to my parents. Luckily he agreed and our wedding will be Friday, March 13th! 😊

There's a rumor Friday the 13th was initially a pagan sign of fertility but when Christianity spread they didn't like the.... Festivities associated with that so they turned it into bad luck. 🤣🤷
So it's all about perspective. I like it.

I too amd getting married on Friday the 13th of this year, our anniversary is the 13th so that's whybwe chose that date. I'm not superstitious so I'm not worried, but any problems that day will be blamed on the fact that it is Friday the 13th.

My sister is a big part of my life and now that she is the one I h have left it's very important for her to be here for all festivities, that's what works best for her. Plus we are in a marriage if three, God, him and I, the date didn't matter

Hello! My wedding is also on November 13th, 2020. I’m a little superstitious but i’ve noticed I always have great luck on Friday the 13th! We picked that date because scary movies brought us closer together. He literally proposed to me right before we saw the remake of It!! So it seemed fitting for us. However, his mom is very religious and I believe when she realizes it she will be very vocal of her disapproval. I just have to remember it’s OUR wedding not hers or anyone else’s and that would be my advice to you!

I am not really superstitious, but we decided to have a Friday the 13th wedding because I was born on a Friday the 13th.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that! I originally wanted our wedding for Nov. 13 of next year, also, until I remembered that is the day his father passed.

Don't listen to anyone, if that is what YOU and your partner want to do, then that is what you do!

My Fiancees birthday is Friday, November 13th. Doesn't seem unlucky to me!

I’m Friday the 13th! Only in March though! Our original date was in February but it was already taken and the next date they had was my best friends date and then they had the 13th and the 20th of March and the 20th is my dads bday so we decided to go with the 13th. Every time we talk about it people give us the look too but my Fiancé and I could care less about the date and are just excited that we finally getting married!

My finacé and I chose the 13th of August because 13 happens to be both of our lucky numbers, despite the fact that it's an unlucky number. It just kinda made sense for us to pick the 13th!

My fiancé and I are getting married Friday the 13th this December. 12/13/2019. When we booked out venue I didn’t realize it was Friday the 13th until my dad pointed it. I honestly got excited. I’m not superstitious at all; I’m more all things spooky.🤪

I’m getting married on Friday, September 13th of this year! 13 has been my lucky number since elementary school! And it just so happens that my birthday and my fiancé’s birthdays have 3’s in them and the 13th falls right in between! September 3rd is mine, our wedding date is the 13th and my fiancé’s is the 23rd! It just made sense! 💕

The reasoning behind the date of Friday August 13, 2021....

We wanted to wait a few years so we could save up for the perfect wedding. I was looking up dates of when my favorite meteor shower, Perseids, peaks. How awesome would it be to watch a meteor shower after a wedding?! I was hoping at least 2 years down the road it would be a weekend. It turns out it was Friday the 13th on August 2021. Strange date? Oh yes. However, we started dating on 11-12-13 & got engaged on 4-20 lol Our strange unexpected dates continue! 😊 Neither of us are superstitious about the date. We actually believe it is a lucky day & number.

I wanted to have Halloween, but, my mother in law to be didn't want that. So, I compromised. I love the "unlucky" days. They're my favorite.

I'm March 17th and the hubby to be is April 2nd. So it makes it easy to get everything out of the way in one shot. I've had many people give me the "Oh No" look. I just let them know that they don't have to go to our wedding. It'll save me money!!

As long as you and your honey are good with your day, that is the most important thing. Who gives a poop what others want. They'll either be there to celebrate with you or not.

I love the day I chose. And I can't wait.
