Fox + Ivory Photography Experience?

I feel like it depends on the posts. I feel like some horror stories ( my venue as an example) had very mixed reviews - from reading the reviews I was hesitant. But from now working with them and reading how the posts were made I honestly feel like the reviews were just bridezillas. I have a wonderful experience with the venue and they have been super responsive ( within 2 weeks) of my emails. I think they should be able to show you their portfolio and you should base it on that. That's how we chose ours (lighter focus photography - Osage Beach, Mo). I think you can also feel people out from a phone and in person meeting. Also, why don't you try them out for your engagement pictures and see if you like them, how responsive they are ( keep in mind that pictures tend to come back a week or so later than they tell you ( good photographers tend to have a large client base, weekend weddings and hundreds to thousands of photos to edit per couple). Anyway we waited and booked Alan after our engagement session and I am genuinely excited for my wedding because of what he can do and how our engagement pictures turned out. If they also post sneak peeks on their instagram or FB page then you could message the couple tagged in the post? Best of luck!
