For brides who are planning to wear Converse sneakers

What did you wear with your Converse sneakers - ankle of no show socks or nylon stockings or tights or nothing at all? I’m afraid that the heel part of the shoe will dig into my ankle area if I don’t wear anything with them.

I'm not wearing Converse for my wedding, but I am wearing Keds and I wear Converse on a regular basis. I'm planning to wear no show socks. Unless you're wearing a short dress, no one will see anyway. I would recommend wearing the shoes around the house to break them in and also have bandaids ready in case of rubbing.

These are my shoes. I’m guessing the glitter makes them a bit more scratchy.
    Thanks Smiley smile

I wore keds for my wedding and I wore no show blue socks with them! My dress was long so you couldn’t see them anyways but it was definitely more comfortable with the socks on than if I went without!

Daughter wore Converse with her regular short, white socks that she usually wears with them (her preferred shoe above all others, so she wears them a lot). She also had her new name and wedding date added to the outside of each shoe at a local shop that makes custom t-shirts and they were super cute. Obviously, the photographer wanted pictures of her wearing her shoes with her a-line ballgown. In the photos where she lifted her skirt so he could take "shoe shots," you can tell she's wearing her little white gym socks, but she's also wearing Converse with a formal wedding gown, so who cares? Smiley winking LOL! She was ALL about being comfortable for her entire 12-hour wedding day (start of photos to end of the reception), so she went with what she knew would be comfortable for both shoes and socks. Great choice! Smiley heart

In all her photos, this is the most you can see of her socks! For brides who are planning to wear Converse sneakers 2

I wore keds with no show socks but the socks were more of a pain than anything, haha. Whenever I wear the shoes now I go sockless.
if I wear shoes I’m afraid will dig into my heels, I usually just put a bandaid on my heel where the edge of the shoe hits just for a little protection.

I’m not wearing converse on my wedding day, but I have several pairs that I wear frequently. I always wear no show socks. I don’t like the way the look when you can see socks, but I also hate the way closed shoes feel without socks.

I'm wearing these with my converse. They are not going to be seen so may as well have fun!
