My FH thinks we should skip dinner because it's too expensive. Our guest list is 250-all family, all coming- we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves. We have cake and smores as a favor, goes with our fire pit. But people need food right?! I think a taco bar is a fun and probably less...

My FH thinks we should skip dinner because it's too expensive. Our guest list is 250-all family, all coming- we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves. We have cake and smores as a favor, goes with our fire pit. But people need food right?! I think a taco bar is a fun and probably less expensive way than a sit down dinner to feed everyone but he says it's tacky. Any thoughts or ideas on cheaper dinner? Is a taco bar really tacky for an outdoor wedding? Help!
